The Deck-Drive DHPD Hardwood screw is specifically designed to easily penetrate the hardest wood and wood-based products, and is ideally suited for use with tropical hardwood decking such as Ipe. With its unique paddle-style drill point, it virtually eliminates splitting, even without predrilling. The wings on the shank counterbore hard material, allowing the head to countersink easily for a clean, finished look. Supplied in Type 305 stainless steel for additional corrosion protection and available in four convenient pack sizes.

Grades of Stainless Steel
304/305 Grades
Thesw two grades share 98% of the elements making up their alloy composition, with 305 having slightly more carbon. A very popular choice with excellent corrosion resistance and good qualities of strength. Slightly cheaper than 316 Grade, it is a durable and aesthetically pleasing choice for all construction applications.
316 Grade

304/305 Grade
